How to Do PE MAKE UPS
(in 2 easy steps)
Check in with your PE teacher to find out what you missed and what you need to make up
Visit your PE Google Classroom for the At Home Make Up Assignment. Complete and submit the assignment (remembering to show the date on your workout videos). If the workout is completed and all the videos are properly shown, then you will receive credit for one missed class.
Physical Education is a participatory class; therefore it is important students attend regularly
PE instructional minutes are mandated by the State of California - therefore missed classes must be made up in order to receive credit (we can not give credit for work that is not done)
PE/Makeup credit will not be given for extracurricular activities, athletics, sports, practices, etc.
After an absence, it is the student's responsibility to contact the teacher to find out what assignments need to be made up
You usually can do PE makeups before an absence, but it's best to check in with your PE teacher first
Usually one missed PE class period will require 1 At Home PE Make Up. However for any absence the student should always check in with their PE teacher to find out exactly what they need to make up
Visit your PE Teacher's website or Google Classroom for the At Home PE Make Up Assignment
Makeup work must be completed by the end of each grading period (unless previously arranged with the teacher)
Non-dresses can not be made up
It is up to the individual teacher to decide if a student can make up absences/work during a suspension
If you miss a class, always be sure to COMMUNICATE with your PE Teacher (especially if you are absent near the end of a grading period)
