The following counseling services are available for all students

Possible Reasons to Meet with your School Counselor:

Mood changes such as anxiety, depression, anger, etc...

  • Peer relationships and effective social skills

  • Academic skills support

  • Coping strategies

  • Communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution

  • Changes stemming from personal struggles, i.e., move, personal tragedy, etc.

  • Crisis counseling

  • Consultation

  • Behavior problems at home/school

  • Failing grades

  • Bullying

  • Transition planning for high school/college

  • Any many more.

Who Can Refer a Student to a Counselor?

Who can refer a student to the counselor?

Self-Referral 

  • As a student, you may fill out a paper counseling request form in the front office, fill out the online form: Counseling Request Form, ask your teacher to come and meet with me or you may also email me.

  • If you come in to meet with me and I am busy or my door is closed, please leave a note in my box which is hanging on my door so that I can talk with you later.

Peer referral 

  • Another student may refer a friend to the counselor.

  • Teacher referral​​
