Immigration Information and Resources

Message from Superintendent Sachs

Dear FSUSD Families,

I want to take a moment to reaffirm Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District’s unwavering commitment to the safety, well-being, and educational success of every student in our school community. We understand that recent rumors about potential immigration enforcement may be creating anxiety among some of our students, families, and staff. Please be assured that our District remains fully dedicated to protecting students’ rights and upholding the values of inclusion and respect that define our schools.

For several years, our District has had a Board Policy and Administrative Regulation outlining how we respond to immigration enforcement. You can review these documents below:

Additionally, the California Department of Justice recently released a Quick Reference for School Officials (English) (Spanish) which has been shared with all school staff.

We encourage our community to report any concerns directly to school administration rather than relying on unverified social media posts. Student support services are always available on campus. Students who feel overwhelmed or in need of support are encouraged to reach out to their teacher, school counselor, or administrator. Families seeking additional guidance can access resources through our website and Family Resource Center.

Thank you for your partnership in keeping our school community safe and informed.

Superintendent Jennifer Sachs
