Fairfield, CA – Suisun Valley students made school history this fall with championship wins in football, volleyball and girls cross country.
Under the leadership of Coach Ruiz, the Suisun Valley volleyball team was undefeated all season, and won their division championship for the first time in school history.
“These championships are a testament to the dedication, hard work, and teamwork of our athletes and coaches,” Principal Tessa Pryor said. “We couldn’t be prouder of what they’ve accomplished.”
Also this fall, Coach James led the Suisun Valley Dragons football team to a championship win, and Coach Kimble led the girls’ cross country team to a championship as well.
Special congratulations go to Elsa Keller, who clinched the No. 1 time for both middle and K-8 school athletes for the second consecutive year.
“This is an incredible achievement for our entire school community,” Principal Pryor said. “Our students have shown what’s possible when we work together and support each other.”
Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District offers a variety of athletic competition opportunities for secondary school students, including football, basketball, soccer, cross country, volleyball, and track and field.
