Fairfield, CA – Enrollment is open for Virtual Academy of Fairfield-Suisun in the Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District. Virtual Academy offers an online learning option for students in grades K-8 in an innovative and flexible environment. 

“Our program combines high-quality instruction, innovative technology, and a commitment to fostering strong connections with families and the community,” the school states. 

Virtual Academy of Fairfield-Suisun students in kindergarten through eighth grade receive 3.5 hours of synchronous instruction daily, engaging in both whole-group and small-group lessons tailored to meet individual learning needs. 

“Our highly-trained teachers are dedicated to creating an interactive and supportive online learning experience,” Virtual Academy Principal Colleen Hutchinson said. “In addition, social-emotional learning is thoughtfully integrated into the curriculum to ensure the holistic development of each student.”

Students of the Virtual Academy are provided with Chromebooks and textbooks at no cost to families to ensure their ability to succeed in their courses. Beyond academics, Virtual Academy prioritizes building a vibrant school community, hosting a variety of student and family engagement events, both virtually and in person.

“These events strengthen connections and celebrate our learners’ achievements,” Principal Hutchinson explained, adding, “Virtual Academy is committed to delivering a premier education that adapts to the needs of modern families while maintaining the highest standards of excellence.
