Military-connected families at Cordelia Hills came together for a morning of camaraderie and support. Students and staff wore purple to show their solidarity, while families enjoyed a breakfast where they had the opportunity to connect with one another and share their experiences. The event also provided a platform for families to provide input on ways the school can further support military-connected students and their families.

Parent Katrina Berry shared her thoughts on the event, stating, "We had a great time meeting other military families at our school. It was a warm, welcoming event and it felt wonderful to feel the support!"

Principal Megan Thole expressed her pride in the school's efforts, saying, "It's a privilege to be able to recognize and support our military-connected families. Cordelia Hills is proud to be a Purple Star school, and today we were able to show our support by wearing purple."
