Fairfield, CA - Two talented students from Early College High School (ECHS) showcased their artistic skills in the 2024 Congressional Art Competition, earning recognition and awards for their exceptional work.
Alanna Prado entered the competition with her digital media artwork titled "Climb to the Top of the World," which was recognized by Congressman John Garamendi for its creativity and execution. Natalia Perez participated with her drawn art piece named "Expectations Over Exhaustion," and was honored with the People's Choice Award, determined by votes on the competition's social media platform.
The annual Congressional Art Competition invites high school students from across the nation to submit their artworks, providing a platform to highlight their skill, hard work, and passion for the arts. This year, Alanna and Natalia's impressive entries stood out among numerous submissions.
Congressman John Garamendi expressed his admiration for the young artists, stating, "Each year, students from high schools across the nation share the results of their skill, hard work, creative talents, and their passion for the arts.
