Fairfield, CA - The Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps (JROTC) Cadets from Fairfield High School demonstrated their strong commitment to the community and the environment during the 2023 Coastal Cleanup. On September 21st, Cadets came together to tackle the cleanup effort, collecting over 500 pounds of trash and uncovering various unexpected items in the Middle and Upper Laurel Creek area.
Among the items retrieved by the Fairfield High School JROTC Cadets were discarded flower pots, long metal posts, car seats, damaged chairs, cushions, gate wire, and other materials. The Cadets' dedication to the local community and their passion for preserving the environment were evident as they worked diligently along the creek's banks and surrounding areas. Their efforts helped restore the natural beauty of the creek and showcased their sense of duty and service.
