CNA Graduates

Congratulations to our newest class of CNA graduates and their teacher, Kyle Kreiter!

If you are interested in enrolling in our CNA program, hers is the information for our fall session:

Certified Nursing Assistant

Session Dates: April 8 - June 24, 2024    Monday - Friday from 8:00-1:00                                                                         

This well- recognized program with a highly successful pass rate for CNA certification is a 250- hour course that teaches basic nursing care and includes comprehensive  classroom  instruction (6 weeks) and supervised clinical training (5 weeks) in local Long Term Care Facilities.

This course is approved by the California Department of Public Health.

Mandatory Orientation (allow 3 hours) Thursday February 29, 2024

Time: 12:30 -3:30 in Room #8

Candidates must demonstrate English language proficiency and be fingerprinted. On the day of orientation, do not wash hands or use hand lotion. Bring social security number/card and a photo ID. 

As required by Long Term Care Facilities students must have had the most recent COVID vaccine. Additional cost for textbook, uniforms, nametag, physical exam, and certification test will be discussed at orientation.

Space is limited and a waitlist will be available on a first- come, first- served basis. The course instructor will call each individual on the waitlist as space becomes available. 

Registration Begins On December 20, 2023

1. Pre-register: www.fsusd.org/fsas and go to Health Training

2. Attend the mandatory Orientation on Thursday February 29, 2024

Course Fee: $1,100 ($100 due at registration, $1,000 due prior to the start of class)

The fingerprinting fee of $75 is non- refundable.  A refund for the course will be by check and take 2-3 weeks.
