Become a certified forklift operator. Class 4 and OSHA compliant training. The class includes safety training followed by hands-on operation. At the conclusion of the class, students will receive forklift certification. You must pay for and pick up your book and complete all homework assignments prior to the start of class.

The welding program is a performance-based program with no prerequisite courses or certifications required. Participants will learn the latest techniques and procedures for beginning to advanced welding and cutting processes. Trainees will learn burning and cutting techniques and will fully understand the characteristics and properties of various metals and the related chemical, physical and mechanical properties. These sessions will provide hands-on training from an American Welding Society (AWS) certified welder that has over 30 years of experience in the welding trades. Course topics include welding theory training, weld joints and positions, welding safety, weld and base metal nomenclature, defects, inspection criteria, shop math basics, blueprint reading, weld techniques and troubleshooting.
In addition to the registration fee, students are responsible for purchasing safety equipment for class, including gloves and helmet. The projected cost of the safety equipment is $100. More information on what equipment is required will be provided on the first night of class.

This is a four week, two evening a week introductory class in carpentry, designed to give an overview of the various components of residential construction and building techniques used throughout the industry.

This hands-on, semester length, two evening a week program is designed to train and prepare the student for a job in the electrical trades, including installation, maintenance techniques for residential, commercial and industrial electrical systems based on the National Electrical Code (NEC), basic fire alarm installation and programming, telecom wiring and termination and motor starter overview with start/stop station. Beginning and advanced levels are available.
