Welcome to H. Glenn Richardson
The first day of school is August 14, 2024!
Dynamic Education Linked to Achievement (DELTA) – This K-12+ program is for students with disabilities that have moderate to significant support needs. DELTA's staff are highly trained in supporting students' behavioral, communication, and sensory needs with a goal of preparing students for transition to a less restrictive environment (e.g. comprehensive campus) when they are ready to do so. More often than not, DELTA students are referred to our program when they need more support to thrive in a Functional Academics (FA) or Solano County Office of Education (County) class on a comprehensive campus. Alternatively, students are at times referred to DELTA when they have made progress in a Non-Public (NPS) placement and are showing readiness to return to public schools but would be less successful in a larger campus setting. All placements at DELTA are done through an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) team process. DELTA students receive life skills, social skills, and alternative core curriculum (Unique Learning Systems) instruction with a course of study leading to a certificate of completion. Post-secondary students receive life skills training along with career/job training. As a Regional program, DELTA may serve students from FSUSD and other districts within the Solano SELPA.
